We make an early departure from Coca, Ecuador and travel down
the Napo River. Your dream becomes reality upon meeting the

You will find that we offer various
transport options for those that wish to travel to Iquitos,
Peru. These options depend on your trip aspirations, budget,
desired level of comfort, types of food service, etc. We
recommend travelling to Iquitos Peru from Puerto Francisco de
Orellana (Coca) down the Napo River with our complete “total
comfort” option or our “adventure” option. Our “transport only”
option is the third option.
TOTAL COMFORT OPTION:
This total comfort option includes various accommodation
options depending on your budget and desired level of comfort
and services. We offer accommodations at various lodges along
the Napo River such as
Napo Wildlife Centre (NWC is 4 hours from
Coca),
Sani Lodge (SL is 5 hours from Coca) and Panacocha
Lodge (PL is 6 hours from Coca). The Napo Wildlife Centre is the
most luxurious of the 3 lodges, Sani Lodge is intermediary and
Panacocha Lodge offers basic comfort and services.

Our final destination in Ecuador is the border town of Nuevo
Rocafuerte which is located near Peru. We travel 3 days down the
Napo River and sleep two nights on the Napos’ large beaches or
in the home of a local indigenous family

Length of trip: 8 Days/7 Nights
Day One to Four: We spend the first 4 days in one of the lodges
of your choice:
Napo
Wildlife Centre
Sani Lodge
Panacocha Lodge
Day Five:
After completing Ecuadorian border procedures, we spend the
night in a basic hotel (Hotel El Pueblo) in the border town of
Nueva Rocafuerte.
Day
Six:
We begin our adventure into the Peruvian Amazon at the border town
of Pantoja. After completing Peruvian border procedures, we travel
downstream until sunset on the Napo River and spend the night on a
beach or with a native family. This offers you an excellent
opportunity to make friends with the local indigenous peoples and
familiarize yourself with their way of life.

Seven:
Our destiny today is the jungle town of Santa Clotilde. We should
arrive here at noon and will spend the night in the local town hotel
after a good dinner.

Eight:
We begin our day at 6h00 when a speedboat meets us for our trip
downriver to Mazan Peru (4 to 5 hours). In Mazan, we travel by land
to the Amazon River where we board another speedboat which will take
us to Iquitos, Peru (one hour). END OF TRIP

Our lodge capacity is from 1 to 30 pax and uniquely for the
trip to Iquitos Peru, our capacity is one to six pax. Should a
travel company have a larger group, they may contact us to
accommodate more passengers during the trip.
Please note that children under 4 years of age may travel for
free while children between 5 and 10 years of age may travel at
half price.
Our prices include: Hotel stay for one night in Coca at
Hotel San Fermin on the night before the trip, lodge
accommodations for the hotel of your choice (Napo Wildlife
Centre, Sani Lodge, Panacocha Lodge)., three meals/day, native
guide, bilingual tour leader, river transport and excursions,
camping equipment, clean drinking water, first aid kit on hand.
Does not include: Airfare Quito-Coca ($73.00), bus
transport ($10.00), alcoholic drinks at bar, entrance fee
($30.00 price 2011) to Parrot clay lick in YNP. While in
Iquitos, Peru you will have safe accommodations in a hotel.
Please note that during your stay in Iquitos, Peru, meals and
accommodations are not included.
Do not hesitate to contact us should the client wish us to make
air travel arrangements. It is preferable that a client send the
cost of the tickets for advanced purchase as this will guarantee
their reservation. Should the client wish private transport from
Quito to Coca, do not hesitate to contact us so that we may
organize suitable transport.
Payment methods: Reservation is guaranteed upon
reception of 50% of the package price through a bank wire order.
Total payment must be received 30 days before trip date. Should
the client make last minute reservations (15 days or less before
departure), total payment is required upon reservation of the
tour.
After completing Ecuadorian border procedures in Nueva
Rocafuerte, we continue our trip to the Peruvian border town of
Pantoja,. From here our Peruvian adventure begins as we continue
down the Napo, camping on its shores or spending the night with
a local family. Our final destination is the Amazon Riv er and
Iquitos, Peru.
Please be advised that we are not responsible for weather
conditions, mechanical problems, trip delays (# of days), river
conditions etc., during your trip. Time is looked at differently
in developing countries and your patience would be greatly
appreciated. Should we run into problems along the river, our
“No Refund” policy will hold through. For much of the duration
of these trips you will be without basic services, especially
while camping or spending the night with an indigenous family.
Please note that will always have clean drinking water for you
during your trip. Please be sure you have personal medications
with you, should you require these.
